Wachstumsschub von 50%
Umsatz steigt auf über
30 Millionen Euro

Der mit seinem Hauptsitz in Paderborn ansässige Intralogistik-Dienstleister Samont GmbH meldet für das Geschäftsjahr 2021 einen Wachstumsschub von rund 50 Prozent. Das auf die Installation, Wartung und Modernisierung von Fördertechnik fokussierte Unternehmen setzte nach eigenen Angaben 30,5 Millionen Euro um und erzielte damit das beste Geschäftsergebnis seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 2008.

Die Zahl der beschäftigten Ingenieure, Techniker und Montagespezialisten erhöhte sich per Jahresende auf über 120. Ihre Zahl steigt weiter. So konnte Samont in den ersten beiden Monaten des neuen Jahres bereits weitere 20 neue Mitarbeitende einstellen. Projektbezogen greift Samont darüber hinaus auf ein Netzwerk von Subunternehmen mit einer Kapazität von weiteren 500 Mitarbeitenden zurück.

Als wachstumsentscheidend sieht Gründer und Geschäftsführer Jasmin Sarkinovic die Fähigkeit des Unternehmens, die für Installation und Inbetriebnahme von Intralogistik-Technik erforderlichen Personalkapazitäten bereitstellen zu können. Basis dafür ist ein innovatives Personalbeschaffungs- und Ausbildungsprogramm, das die Ausschöpfung nationaler personeller Optionen ebenso beinhaltet wie gezielte Rekrutierungen im europäischen Ausland. Damit verschafft sich Samont auf einem von Mangel an qualifiziertem technischen Personal geprägten Markt einen entscheidenden Wettbewerbsvorteil.

Wie das Unternehmen weiter mitteilt, wird auch im Geschäftsjahr 2022 die Fortsetzung des Wachstums erwartet: „Unsere Auftragsbücher sind voll“, so Geschäftsführer Jasmin Sarkinovic.

Samont GmbH, the intralogistics service provider headquartered in Paderborn, Germany, reports a growth spurt of around 50 per cent for the 2021 financial year. The company, which focuses on the installation, maintenance and modernisation of materials handling technology, reported sales of 30.5 million euros, its best business result since it was founded in 2008.

The number of employed engineers, technicians and installation specialists increased to more than 120 at the end of the year, and their number continues to rise. In the first two months of the new year, Samont was able to hire another 20 new employees. Samont also has access to a network of subcontractors with a capacity of another 500 employees for specific projects.

Founder and managing director Jasmin Sarkinovic sees the company's ability to provide the personnel capacities required for the installation and commissioning of intralogistics technology as decisive for growth. The basis for this is an innovative recruitment and training programme that includes the exploitation of national personnel options as well as targeted recruitment in other European countries. This gives Samont a decisive competitive advantage in a market characterised by a shortage of qualified technical personnel.

The company also announced that growth is expected to continue in the 2022 financial year: "Our order books are full," says managing director Jasmin Sarkinovic.

Das weisen die diesjährig veröffentlichten Rankings der internationalen Wirtschaftszeitung „Financial Times“ und des deutschen Wirtschaftsmagazins „Focus Business“ aus. So belegt SAMONT im aktuellen Financial-Times-Ranking der 1000 wachstumsstärksten europäischen Unternehmen Platz 428 und in der Focus-Rangliste der deutschen Top-500-Wachstumschampions Platz 106. Bei Focus besetzt SAMONT in der Branchenwertung Maschinen- und Anlagenbau den 2. Platz und gehört hier zum dritten Mal in Folge zu den drei Bestplatzierten. Maßstab der Rankingbewertungen ist eine durchschnittliche jährliche Umsatzsteigerung von 67 % im Zeitraum zwischen 2018 und 2021.

This is confirmed by this year's rankings published by the international business newspaper "Financial Times" and the German business magazine "Focus Business". SAMONT is ranked 428th in the current Financial Times ranking of the 1000 fastest growing European companies and 106th in the Focus ranking of the German top 500 growth champions. In the Focus ranking, SAMONT is ranked 2nd in the mechanical and plant engineering sector and is among the top three for the third time in a row. The benchmark for the ranking assessments is an average annual sales increase of 67 % in the period between 2018 and 2021.

Schaltschränke sind ein Herzstück im Getriebe komplexer Förder-und Sortiertechnik. Angesichts dieser Bedeutung hat SAMONT die Planung, Konstruktion und Fertigung von Schaltschränken in eigene Hände übernommen und damit dem Dienstleistungsangebot des Unternehmens einen gewichtigen Baustein hinzugefügt.

Die Fäden von Planung, Konstruktion und Fertigung der SAMONT-Schaltschränke laufen im Bereich Electrical Engineering zusammen. Hier werden nach kundenspezifischen Vorgaben Schaltpläne entworfen, die Weichen für Verdrahtung und Kabelkonfektionierung gestellt und alle Komponenten unter Einhaltung der einschlägigen Normen und Vorschriften zu einem harmonisch funktionierenden Miteinander verknüpft. Fertigung und Prüfung einschließlich VDE- und CE-konformer Messungen erfolgen am Produktionsstandort Paderborn, ehe die Schaltschränke von eigenen Installationsteams übernommen und vor Ort montiert und in Betrieb genommen werden.

Control cabinets are at the heart of complex conveyor and sorting technology. In view of this importance, SAMONT has set up a separate department for the planning, design and manufacture of control cabinets, thus adding a weighty component to the company's range of services.

The threads of planning, design and production of SAMONT control cabinets come together in the Electrical Engineering department. Here, circuit diagrams are designed according to customer-specific specifications, the course is set for wiring and cable assembly, and all components are linked together to form a harmoniously functioning system in compliance with the relevant standards and regulations. Production and testing, including VDE and CE-compliant measurements, take place at the Paderborn production site before the control cabinets are taken over by our own installation teams and assembled and commissioned on site.
