SAMONT acquires Croatian HTS Group

SAMONT GmbH has taken over the Croatian HTS Group as part of its growth strategy. The strategic acquisition strengthens the market presence in Southern and Eastern Europe and accelerates the targeted Europe-wide growth. SAMONT and the HTS Group are thus opening a new chapter in their long-standing successful cooperation.

The HTS Group is a technical service provider characterized by special expertise in electrical installation and maintenance in mechanical and plant engineering. "We are using these skills and resources as part of the strategic takeover to further strengthen our market position with first-class technical services and to tap into new client potential," explains SAMONT Managing Director Jasmin Sarkinovic. The new subsidiary will focus on electrical engineering in the areas of assembly, service and production and will support both national and international projects.

Mišel Hrupek will take over the management of the Croatian subsidiary: "We are looking forward to the even closer cooperation with SAMONT and the associated expanded opportunities to offer our clients high-quality technical services.” The first SAMONT subsidiary abroad is located in the former Croatian capital Varaždin. Located in the north of the country, the city is considered a stronghold for technically oriented university and higher education. The establishment in this know-how center offers an additional benefit through direct access to a talent pool for the recruitment and development of qualified technical specialists. SAMONT is thus pursuing its strategy of leveraging international resources in addition to national potential in order to counter the acute shortage of skilled workers.
